The 80-some EMC members live all around Seattle’s Eastside, from Renton and Issaquah to Kenmore, Everett and Monroe, with concentrations in Kirkland, Bellevue, Sammamish, Redmond, and Woodinville. We all have at least one child under 6 years old (or first-grade age).

Most of us are stay-at-home-moms. Several of us have part-time jobs (either in or out of the home). A few do occasional contract or temp work, or are employed full-time – their children participate with their nanny or grandma while the moms come to some evening events.

Our ages, incomes, pre-child backgrounds, and parenting styles vary, but we all share a commitment to enriching our children’s lives and supporting each other as friends and fellow moms.
