EMC holds events for moms and children each Thursday morning throughout the year.

During the school year (September through June), these Thursday events include field trips, tours, holiday parties, puppet shows, private concerts, and charitable projects. First Thursdays are Mom's Morning Breaks, at which moms enjoy social time and a speaker while the kids play in our supervised “Explorer Zone” childcare room.

Summer Thursdays are usually laid-back mornings at local parks and beaches, with occasional outings such as our annual trip to the kangaroo farm near Arlington.

In addition, we offer weekly playgroups, a monthly Cooking Group (with kids), and three to five moms-only evening events per month, such as Book Group, Craft Group, Bunko Group, and Adventure Divas.
